Nelson Mandela would have been 101 years old today!
On Nelson Mandela Day today, we share with you some of the United Nations Standard Minimum Rules for the Treatment of Prisoners (more commonly known as the 'Nelson Mandela Rules'). They provide guidance for the humane and fair treatment of prisoners with a focus on rehabilitation and the upholding of human rights.
A fitting tribute to a man who spent 27 years behind bars and inspired so many through his words and actions.
